About our scanner
DPDP Lens visits your website the way an ordinary browser would, plus public DNS and TLS lookups. It identifies itself and honours your wishes.
How to recognise us
Our scanner sends a User-Agent containing PrivacientLens/1.0 and a link to this page. We never spoof a browser to evade blocking.
What we fetch
Only what a visitor loading your site would fetch anyway, plus public DNS and TLS metadata. In Restricted mode we probe no path a browser would not request. We fetch and honour robots.txt on every scan.
If you would rather we did not
Email contact@privacient.com from an address at the domain and we will add it to a permanent opt-out register immediately.
If your site blocks us
We back off and abandon rather than retry or work around it. The report will say the site blocked automated access, and offer a manual review.
